College Internship Opportunities :

The college really focuses on placements and prepares us well. It's a relief knowing they've got our backs. But the competition is intense, and not everyone lands a high-paying job. Still, there are ample internship opportunities to gain experience.

Course Information :

I'm doing Electrical Engineering here, and honestly, it's a mixed bag. The concepts are fascinating, but sometimes the course feels too theoretical. Could use more hands-on projects to really solidify what we're learning. Still, it's IIT, so the base is strong.

Fee Structure :

As an SC student, my fees are around 1 lakh per year. It feels like the money is being invested back into the college, but I wish they'd put more towards events and activities. Could really use some fun to break up the study grind!

Faculty :

The faculty is a mixed bag. Some professors are brilliant and super engaging, but others struggle to connect with students. It really depends on the professor you get. More interactive teaching methods would definitely help.

Campus Details :

IIT Kharagpur's campus is HUGE! Hostels are decent and cleaned daily, which is a plus. The mess food could be better, though – needs more hygiene. Outside the campus, there's not much to do, so you're mostly stuck within the college walls.
